A Vemba Case Study

Meet Alex

Alex Register is the Partner Development Manager for VICE, where she is responsible for video syndication and monetization strategies, including managing the strategy and operations for VICE’s Video Distribution Portfolio.

The Challenge:

VICE reaches an audience of hundreds of millions of young people with its distinct, authentic content on the subjects that matter most to its viewers. To continue to reach even more young people,VICE built a network of distribution partners that help to create an expanding universe of influence.

But distributing this content to a fragmented network of media providers has proved challenging - with separate platforms, tools and infrastructures to deal with. It was a Biz Dev dream to build the network, but an operator's nightmare to manage the implementation.

The Solution:

VICE implemented Vemba to simplify the entire content distribution process. The platform helps distribution partners access videos and gets them on to their sites with ease.

Vemba’s professional services team works with VICE’s partner network in the onboarding, education, technical troubleshooting and general updates that partners may require in the daily use of the Vemba platform.

The Result: 200%+ Increase in video reach across vice's distribution network since launch

Vemba has really facilitated our video distribution. Simplifying what was a very manual and cumbersome process, and helping us build a sustainable business. The Vemba Services team has really helped manage our distribution network in the uptake of the platform.
